The newest DC movie that most critics said would flop is heading home to Digital HD, Blu-Ray and DVD next month! Here are all the details!
The film will be released to Digital HD outlets on November 15th and then will see a Blu-Ray and DVD release on December 11th, just in time for the holidays!
The question on lots of minds is just how long is the Extended Cut and will there be more Joker scenes. I cannot confirm nor deny there will be more Joker scenes at the moment but what I can confirm is the Extended Cut will run 11 minutes longer than the theatrical cut. It doesn’t seem like it’s much longer but maybe those 11 minutes will be enough to make critics change their minds about the film like the Ultimate Edition did for Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice.
In terms of special features, here is what will be included according to the back of the ably-Ray case:
- Task Force X: One Team, One Mission featurette
- Squad Strength and Skills featurette
- Joker and Harley: The ‘It’ Couple of The Underworld featurette
- Chasing The Real featurette
- Gag Reel
The back of the case also states more will be included but I have no future details. From looking at the list, it’s quite possible new Joker footage will be shown in the Joker and Harley featurette.
It was also just announced recently that the Digital HD release will have bonus features as well. Besides what’s listed above, the release will also include:
- Armed To The Teeth featurette
- This Is Gonna Get Loud featurette
- The Squad Declassified featurette
- Sucker For Pain music video
I cannot not confirm that those features will also be included on the Blu-Ray and DVD releases but they will at least be on the Digital HD release.
The film will also be released on Ultra HD Blu-Ray disc as well.
Stay tuned for more details on the upcoming release of the hottest film of the summer!
