So who is ready for Black Friday 2016?! I spent a few days researching some of the best deals on DC products on this anticipated day. Keep in mind, the best deals are going on sale on THURSDAY so I usually call it Black Thursday. The deals you will see below are from the big stores: Walmart, Target, Best Buy, and Amazon. Most stores will be opening at 6pm on Thursday so if you want in on any of these deals, make sure you’re at your store of choice an hour or two early to avoid the crowds.

For all of you Walmart shoppers, on Thursday at 6pm, you can find these deals:

  • Arrow: The Complete Fourth Season DVD – $9.96
  • Batman: Return To Arkham Video Game – $25
  • Batman: The Telltale Series Video Game – $25
  • Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice Ultimate Edition (BD/DVD/Digital HD) – $9.96
  • DC’s Legends of Tomorrow: The Complete First Season DVD – $9.96
  • Gotham: The Complete Second Season DVD – $9.96
  • iZombie: The Complete Second Season DVD – $9.96
  • Justice League: Gods and Monsters DVD – $1.96
  • Scooby-Doo/KISS: Rock ‘n’ Roll Mystery DVD – $1.96
  • Supergirl: The Complete First Season DVD – $9.96
  • The Flash: The Complete Second Season DVD – $9.96

My thoughts on these are: if you haven’t picked up Dawn of Justice yet, this is a great price for an amazing movie. Heads up, Best Buy and Target will have it for a few cents cheaper but it’s not that much of a difference so if you’re at Walmart, just grab it from there. And if you haven’t picked up this years new TV Series DVDs, these are great prices for them. Walmart will not be having the Blu-Ray counterparts for sale and these DVDs do NOT come with digital copies but if that doesnt bother you and you need to pick these up, here’s a great chance. You also can’t beat the $1.96 DVDs. I’ll be picking up the Scooby-Doo one myself.

For the Target shoppers, the only things they have advertised are Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice Ultimate Edition (BD/DVD/Digital Copy) for $9 which is only $.96 cheaper than Walmart. The other thing is the brand new DC Super Hero Girls: Hero of The Year DVD for $6. If you’re at Target, here’s your chance to grab them!

For the Best Buy shoppers, you have a few items no other store has! Here’s what you can grab:

  • Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice Ultimate Edition (BD/DVD/Digital Copy) – $8.99
  • Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice Ultimate Edition 4K BD – $17.99
  • Batman: Assault on Arkham BD – $6.99 (Please note this is NOT the version I posted on a few days ago that comes with a digital copy of Suicide Squad)
  • Batman: Bad Blood BD – $6.99
  • Batman: The Killing Joke BD – $6.99
  • Justice League vs Teen Titans BD – $6.99
  • LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes: Justice League – Gotham City Breakout BD – $3.99
  • Man of Steel 4K BD – $17.99
  • Watchmen: The Ultimate Cut 4K BD – $17.99

If you already have Dawn of Justice, your best bets here are the animated films and the 4K discs. Those are all great prices. Especially for the legendary Killing Joke movie and the 4K discs that can reach up to $40. I almost planned on picking up the Ultimate Cut of Watchmen myself but found out the cover states the Ultimate Cut is ONLY on the 4K disc and not the regular BD disc.

Lastly for all of you Amazon shoppers, please note that Amazon MAY price match some of the above deals. It’s entirely up to them if they do or don’t. I can’t promise they will or won’t. They do have some amazing prices on Batman: The Complete Television Series right NOW though. The DVD AND BD versions are $49.99 and if you want the limited edition BD with the replica Batmobile Hot Wheel and the box that plays the theme song, it’s $89.99. Great prices that are active as I type this! The BD sets also come with digital copies so it’s like you’re getting two for the price of one!

So now that you know who has the best deals, I hope your Thursday is spent eating some Turkey with all of your loved ones and then spent buying some awesome DC stuff!
