As always, my picks for this week and my reasons are:

  • Batman #17 (if you can only read one issue of Tom King’s run on Batman, this is the one because this and the upcoming issue of The Flash are a crossover where Batman and The Flash finally investigate that mysterious button Batman found in his cave months ago. Yes, THAT button. Don’t miss out on this issue!)
  • Batman The Golden Age Volume 2 (If you picked up Volume 1 or just love reading the older Batman comics from the early 40s-on, you’ll love this collection.)
  • Future Quest Volume 1 (If you love Hanna-Barbera, you’ll love this team up featuring Space Ghost and a whole bunch of Hanna-Barbera’s finest! This book is a great choice if you want to read this book from the beginning!)
  • Super Sons #1 (I’ve been waiting for this issue ever since it was announced earlier last year. We’ve seen Clark Kent and Bruce Wayne team up for decades, but we’ve never seen Jonathan Kent and Damien Wayne follow in their fathers’ footsteps!)
  • Wild Storm #1 (I’ve been waiting for this issue too. DC finally takes the property they purchased back in 1999, and relaunches it to stand beside DC and Young Animal. I have a good feeling about this one!)

So what are you waiting for?! Head out and buy some books! Just don’t forget to comment and tell us what books YOU’RE picking up this week!
